Andy “Pete” Chance, age 79, of Troy died Saturday, April 13, 2013 at Nolan Long Term Care in Montgomery. Funeral services will be heldWednesday, April 17, 2013 at 11:00 AM from the Park Memorial United Methodist Church with Reverend Danny Arnold and Dr. Chris Eckert officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Hilliard Cemetery in Stills Cross Roads. Visitation will be held Tuesday, April 16, 2013 from 5-7 at Dillard Funeral Home in Troy. There will be a 30 minute lie in state at the church prior to the service.

Survivors include; 3 Sons and Daughters-in-law, Gregory and Cindy Chance of Raeford, North Carolina, Stephen and Robbie Chance of Winder, Georgia,  Kenneth and Stephanie Chance of Troy, Grandchildren, Sarah Thompson, Spencer Chance, Alexandra Chance, Andrew Chance and Will Chance. Chance of the High Ridge Community, Gladys Chance of Mobile, special friends, Chuck and Elly McClelland. Andy was preceded in death by his wife, Arnetta Chance and 11 Brothers and Sisters. Serving as both Active and Honorary Pallbearers will be the Park Memorial United Methodist Men’s Club.

Memorials may be made to the American Heart Fund, the American Cancer Society or the Park Memorial United Methodist Church Men’s’ Club
