Blake Green, age 14, of Troy passed away Wednesday, April 3, 2013 along with his father Timmy Green, age 34 as a result of an auto accident in Troy. Funeral services for Blake Green will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 9, 2013 at Springhill Emmanuel Church with Pastor Wilburn Kirkland and Pastor Chris Story officiating. Burial will follow in the Starling-Davenport Cemetery with Skeen Funeral Home of Troy directing. Visitation for Blake Green will be held from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. Monday, April 8, 2013 at Skeen Funeral Home in Troy. The family will also receive friends Tuesday from 1 until 2 p.m. at the church prior to the service. Blake was born August 20, 1998 in Troy, AL to Timmy H. Green and Rebecca Mann Green. Blake was an 8th grader at Pike County High School. He was loved and admired by his classmates, teachers, staff, students, friends and family. He is survived by his mother and her fiancé Rebecca Green and Jason Hunt, Troy; sisters: Shelby Green and Hailey Green, brother: Gage Hunt, all of Troy; grandparents: Liz and Walter Green and Mona and Mike Crowder; great grandparents: Francis Davenport, and Roy and Betty Mann all of Troy; uncles: Charles Mann and Will Crowder; great uncles, great aunts, cousins and numerous friends. Serving as pallbearers will be Ashton Lewis, Cody Presley, Jason Hunt, Charlie Mann, Jacob Reus and Mose Tillery.
