The Charles Henderson High School Athletic Foundation will host its annual drawdown on April 6 at 6 p.m. The event will take place on the fourth floor of the Stadium Tower on the Troy University campus.

This year’s fundraiser will help fund the purchase of letterman jackets for all athletes. The expense for the jackets is expected to push $25,000.

The grand prize is $20,000 for one lucky winner. There will not be a split pot for this year’s event.

The winner of the prize is not required to be present.

“This is a great way to support the school and have a chance at winning a great prize at the same time,” event organizer Elizabeth Stallworth said. “What we try to do with the foundation is provide things to the student-athletes that the school can not. This is a great way to help do that.”

The foundation plans to sell 500 tickets and have approximately 150 remaining.

To purchase a ticket contact Charles Henderson High School at 566-3510. The tickets are a tax-deductible donation.
