Elizabeth Diane Prather, 57, of Smiths Station, AL, passed away Sunday, March 24, 2013, in her home.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm EST, on Thursday, March 28, 2013, at Vance Memorial Chapel with Reverend David Dollar officiating. Interment will be held at Lakeview Memory Gardens and the family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 pm EST at the funeral home.

Mrs. Prather was born on March 28, 1955, in Troy, AL, the daughter of the late Carroll Day and Sarah Aubin. She was a member of Whiterock Freewill Baptist Church.

Other than her parents she is preceded in death by a brother, Johnny Day.

She is survived by her loving husband, Clemis E. Prather; 2 daughters, Angie Prather and Sarah Prather both of Smiths Station, AL; son, Christopher Prather, wife M.J. Elizabeth Prather, of Columbus, GA; brother, Frank Day; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews; much extended family and many caring friends. “I love you mommy” from Sarah, Angie and Chris.
