Mr. Leo W. Bennett, age 71 of Troy, died Wednesday, March 6, 2013 at his home.  Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 9, 2013 at2:00 pm from the chapel of Dillard Funeral Home in Troy with Reverend Charles Newman officiating.  Interment will follow in the OakGrove Methodist Church Cemetery with Dillard Funeral Home of Troy directing. Visitation will be held Friday, March 8, 2013 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Dillard Funeral Home in Troy. Mr. Bennett is survived by 2 sons, Leo Bennett, Jr. of Montgomery and Tracey Bennett (Donna) of Glenwood, his sister Beverly Jeffcoat of Atlanta, brother Mike Edwards; grandchildren, Dakota Bennett, Harlee Bennett, Brandon Rhodes, Jennyfer Castro, and Keyle Bennett, nieces, Brittney Leshae Irvin of Troy, Heather Nicole McLeod Williams of Troy, Amanda McLeod of Perry, GA, Patricia McLeod; nephews, William McLeod of Troy, Jerry Horne of Troy, Ray Horne of Troy, Bryant McLeod of Perry, GA, Thomas McLeod of Montgomery, 3 brothers-in-law, Dan McLeod of Navarre, FL, Doug McLeod of Troy, and Robert Irvin of Troy. He was preceded in death by his wife Nancy Sue Bennett and his parents. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the Oak Grove Cemetery Fund.
