Troy center fielder Ali Knowles suffered a hand injury in the series finale against Florida A&M on Sunday. His status for this weekend’s tournament in Orlando, Fla., is uncertain and the team is still awaiting doctor’s recommendation.

If Knowles cannot go, Clay Holcomb, Jo-El Bennett and Josh McDorman can all play his spot in the outfield.

Knowles, a junior, batted .545 over the weekend.
