The Troy men’s basketball team will pay a visit to Western Kentucky tonight at the E.A. Diddle Arena in Bowling Green, Ky.
The Trojans look to extend their two-game winning streak. Both victories came in overtime. Troy defeated Arkansas State at Trojan Arena on Thursday before knocking off Louisiana-Monroe over the weekend.
Troy (9-12, 4-6 Sun Belt) is lead by senior Emil Jones who is averaging 11.2 points per contest. Jones made a late 3-pointer against Arkansas State to send that game into overtime.
Western Kentucky (11-11, 5-6) defeated Troy in December, 75-71.
The Hilltoppers come into Thursday contest having lost three straight game, including a 72-53 beat down from Middle Tennessee State on Saturday.
T.J. Price paces WKU with 13.6 points per game this year. Price scored a game-high 23 points against Troy in the team’s previous meeting.
Antoine Myers led Troy in that game with 20 points.
The Trojans enter the game 7-9 all-time versus Western Kentucky. Last season marked the first time Troy has ever beaten the Hilltoppers at E.A. Diddle Arena.
