Rumors swirl over Rowell’s future

Coaches from across the country are meeting at the annual AFCA convention in Nashville and rumors are naturally swirling.

FootballScoop.com reported Sunday night that Troy defensive coordinator Jeremy Rowell would not be returning to the Trojans coaching staff.

The university would not comment on Sunday.

In other Troy related news, former Trojan offensive line coach and defensive coordinator Wayne Bolt was let go by Auburn on Dec. 6. Bolt served as Auburn’s Director of Football Operations.

Bolt served as Troy’s offensive line coach from 1991-1996 before taking over as defensive coordinator from 1997-2002.
