Friendship Missionary Baptist Church on U.S. Highway 231 North will be open on Saturday to provide needed items to storm victims.

Church member Lawanda Bell said everything from televisions to laundry detergent and clothing to comforters would be available to those who suffered tornado damage.

The church will be open from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

“When we saw what had happened, and what people were going through, we just knew we had to help,” Bell said.

“Anything that they need, we have it.”
