Mrs. Minnie F. Kidd of Jack, AL. passed away Tuesday, January 1, 2013 at her residence. She was 77. Funeral services for Minnie F. Kidd will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 4, 2013 at Skeen Funeral Home Chapel in Troy with Rev. Glen Kidd officiating. Burial will follow in St. John Cemetery with Skeen Funeral Home of Troy directing. The family will receive friends from 1 until 2 p.m. at the chapel one hour prior to the service. Minnie F. Kidd was born November 16, 1935 in Troy, Al daughter of the late Minnie James Hussey and Susan Cornelious Brooks Hussey. In addition to her parents Mrs. Kidd was preceded in death by her husband, R.P. Kidd and a brother Joe Hussey.

She is survived by her children: Frances Kidd, Randy Kidd, Raymond (Melanie) Kidd, Ricky (Teressa) Kidd and Teresa Ann Godwin all of Jack, AL; Faye (Lester) Burgans and Carl (Mary) Kidd all of Glenwood, AL; Glen (Donna) Kidd, Donald (Jennifer) Kidd and Tommy (Barbara) Kidd all of Troy, AL; 25 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; 3 sisters and brother-in-law: Beula Davis, Mandy Littles and Agnes (Denzel) Barron; 7 brothers and sisters-in-law: James (Betty) Hussey, Ralph (Mary Lee) Hussey, Fred (Elizabeth) Hussey, Frank (Betty) Hussey, David (Charlotte) Hussey, Charles Hussey and Carroll (Stephanie) Hussey and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Serving as pallbearers will be Brandon Kidd, James Godwin, Josh Kidd, Kevin Kilpatrick, Wayne Kidd and Tommy Kidd, Jr. Honorary pallbearers will be Stanley Kidd, John Kilpatrick, Robert Kidd and Steve Kidd.
