Betty Jo Stinson “NaNa” Avant, age 81, of Brundidge, died Wednesday, December 19, 2012 in Headland at her daughters home surrounded by her children. Funeral Services will be held Friday, December 21, 2012 at 10:00 AM from the Chapel of Dillard Funeral Home in Brundidge with Reverend Mack king and Reverend Chad Manion officiating. Burial will follow in the Lakeview Cemetery. Dillard Funeral Home in Brundidge directing.

Survivors include; her children, Susan and Robert Curl of Brundidge, Freddy and Donna Avant of Brundidge, Mark and Melody Avant of Brundidge, Sharon and Randy Hays of Headland.

Grandchildren, Jonathan (Joy) Steele, Jessica (Curtis) Batts, Savannah (Jonathan) Turman, Max Steele, Justin (Jennifer) Barr, Summer Farnsworth, Jacob Avant, Adam Avant, Amber (Josh) Barbaree, Shane Lewis, Tucker Avant, Seth Lewis, Josh (Angela) Hays, Will Hays, Elizabeth (Paul ) Ewing, Great Grandchildren, GwennBatts, Gabe Batts, Cole Avant, Tristin Farnsworth, Kylee Farnsworth, Mason Barr, Annabell Barbaree, Bryce Barbaree, Jeremy Hays, Brenli Conner, EvalynTurman.

Serving as pallbearers will be Jacob Avant, Josh Hays, Adam Avant, Jonathan Steele, Will Hays, Tucker Avant, Shane Lewis, Max Steele. She was preceded in death by her husband Max Avant, Parents, Herbert and Tura Green Stinson, Brothers, Earl Stinson, Frank Stinson, Herbert Roscoe Stinson jr. Sister, Eleanor Lee. Flowers will be accepted or Donations can be made  to the Salem Baptist church.
