Source: Yenser to be named OL coach

Zach YenserA source inside the Troy Athletic Department has confirmed that former Trojan Zach Yenser will be named offensive line coach.

Yenser played for Troy from 2003-2006 and has served as a graduate assistant for Louisiana Tech since March of 2010. Prior to his time a Louisiana Tech, Yenser was the running backs coach and strength coordinator at Colquitt County High School in Moultrie, Ga., and helped the team to a Georgia Class 5A state semifinal appearance in 2009. The team finished with an 11-2 record

As a member of the Trojans football team, Yenser was a four-year starter and helped led the team to a Sun Belt Conference title and a win in the New Orleans Bowl in 2006. Yenser began his coaching career at Troy as a graduate assistant in 2007 helping guide the Trojans to its second of five consecutive conference championships.

Yenser replaces John Schlarman, who served as OL coach for six seasons and recently departed fro the same position at Kentucky.
