CHHS hits the road tonight to face Bullock County

Charles Henderson High School will play its final road and region game of the year tonight when the Trojans travel to face Bullock County in Union Springs.
Bullock County (0-8) have fallen on tough times. The program has been the doormat of Class 4A Region 2 for some time. The program’s last winning season came in 1984. The Hornets have finished 5-5 just twice since that time.
To make the program’s history picture a little clearer, Bullock County has averaged 2.4 wins since 1923.
Charles Henderson comes into the game on a five-game win streak and will look finish the regular season and head into the playoffs white-hot.
The Trojans offense has averaged 41.8 points over the last five games. Charles Henderson has scored 268 points on the season while the team’s defense has yet to allow 100 on the year. The unit has surrendered just 6.3 points per contest in the last three games. Bullock County is averaging just 14.8 points per game and is allowing 51.
The Trojans haven’t won six consecutive games since the team finished the 2007 regular season undefeated.
Charles Henderson and Bullock County are set for a 7 p.m. kickoff from Bryant Foster Field in Union Springs.
