Troy sophomore offensive lineman Zach Johnson tweeted on Monday that his football career has come to an end.

Zach’s Tweet: “@zachj58: Unfortunately I was informed today that I won’t be strapping up and playing football again. The narrowing in my spinal column is very severe”

He went on say: “@zachj58: It has been an awesome experience from park and Rec all the way to D-1 football and I don’t regret any of it.”

“@zachj58: I just want to say thanks to all the coaches I have had through the years, other players I have played with, and all the fans.”

Johnson suffered a concussion against Louisiana-Lafayette in the second game of the season ad has not played since.
