Mrs. Addie Julia “Judy” Mathews Patterson, born 24 June 1919 in Pike County passed away on 31 July 2012 in Carson City, NV. A committal service will be held Tuesday, October 16, 2012 at 1:00 pm at Green Hills Mausoleum, with Jimmy Mathews officiating and Green Hills Funeral Home directing. She leaves behind her husband of 60 years A. A. “Pat” Patterson of Carson City, NV., children; Daniel R Lawton of Oregon House, CA., Mary F. Noel Worth, of Citrus Heights, CA. and Nancy J. Patterson Sidley & husband Maxwell A. Sidley of, Vass, NC. She has nine grandchildren, twenty-three great grandchildren, and five great great grandchildren. She leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Mrs. Patterson was a Mathews before marriage and was from Troy, Alabama. She has traveled the world with her husband who served in the Air Force. She retired from the Civil Service as a Librarian after serving at Maxwell AFB in Alabama; Hickham Air Field in Hawaii; Ramestein AFB in Germany; Suffolk County AFB in New York, Mather and McClellan AFBases both in California.
