Mr. Carlos Botts age 92 of Troy died Thursday, September 27, 2012 at the Troy Health and Rehabilitation Center.
Funeral Services will be held at 4:00 pm Saturday, September 29, 2012 from the Chapel of Dillard Funeral Home in Troy with Reverend David McVay officiating. Burial will follow atGreen Hills Cemetery with Military Honors by Charley’s Angles.
Visitation will be held Friday, September 28, 2012 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Dillard Funeral Home in Troy.
He is survived by his Daughter Suzanne Botts of NC, his sons Daniel (Susan) Botts of Florida, Charles A. Botts of Troy, Richard (Melody) Botts of Hoover, and Robert G. “Bob” (Karen) Williamson of Troy, His grandchildren Ann Neuenschwander, Sarah Botts, Emily Williamson, Josh Botts, Michael (Anna) Botts, and Graham Williamson, a great granddaughter Julia Botts. He was preceded in death by his wife Jean Botts.
Mr. Botts was an organizing member, officer and long time board member of the Alabama Society of Professional Land Surveyors. He was a World War II Veteran and served in the Thirtieth Engineers Co. “A”.
The family appreciates the care provided for Mr. Botts by Troy Health and Rehabilitation Center and Hospice Advantage.
Active pallbearers will be Mr. Jerry Vinson, Dr. John Crosby, Mr. Anthony Bowden, Mr. Brian Bowben, Mr. John Watkins, and Mr. Thad Yancey.
