Pike Liberal Arts searching for first win

No one at Pike Liberal Arts is used to losing. Not the players and certainly not their head coach, Wayne Grant, who has amassed over 200 victories over his career.
The Patriots will have a good shot at putting a digit on the correct side of the win/loss column as they travel to take on Lyman Ward in Camp Hill on Friday.
Pike is 4-0 all-time against the Rangers and none of the decisions have been close.
If the Patriots thought the outcome in their first two game were bad, they need only look at Lyman Ward’s results to feel a little better. The Rangers have lost their first two game by a combined score of 130-64. Pike has been out-scored 80-15.
One of the defenses will have to make a stand in this one if either one of them want to come away with a win.
Possibly the only positive Lyman Ward can take away for its pair of losses is the fact that they scored 43 points against Macon-East and 21 against Tuscaloosa Academy.
The Patriots haven’t been that fortunate with a season-high eight points so far this season.
One thing is for sure about this match up, both teams offenses should come out looking a little better than they did before.
