A locker room scuffle after a high school football game Thursday night could land participants in jail, according to Pike County Sheriff Russell Thomas.
Not much official information was available Thursday night, but witnesses told The Messenger the fight involved at least two players, two coaches and one parent – all from Goshen – and resulted in minor injuries. One coach was taken to the emergency room.
Goshen principal Dr. Warren Weeks spoke with The Messenger Thursday after the fight and said there would be a criminal investigation and details will be released pending the investigation findings.
The Thursday night game was a face-off between Goshen and Pike County High School. Goshen lost the game, 20-11.
