Mary McLure Robinson

Mary McLure Robinson of Montgomery, Al, formerly of Clayton and Brundidge, Al., died July 20, 2012 in the home of her son.

She was born in Alabama and was the daughter of Quincy Patterson and Addie Lou McLure.

Mrs. Robinson was a retired Administrative Assistant for the Barbour County Board of Education.

She began her career with the Board of Education in 1948 and retired in 1979, after 31 years of faithful service. In 1980, she moved to Brundidge, Al where she was employed with Price Pharmacy as a bookkeeper for 23 years. She retired from that position in 2003.

Mrs. Robinson is survived by one son, Michael M Robinson and wife Vicky, of Montgomery, Al; two grandchildren, Christopher Robinson and wife Debra, of Prattville and Laura Robinson of

Newnan,Ga; one brother, James S. McLure of Arvada, CO; one sister, Martha McLure Price and husband, Don of Brundidge, AL.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm, Monday, August 6, 2012 in the United Methodist

Church of Brundidge, AL. The family will receive friends from 1-2 pm in the sanctuary of the church, prior to the memorial service.
