FAIRHOPE – Troy needed just two swings of the bat to defeat Spanish Fort, 4-2, in the Dixie O-Zone State Tournament in Fairhope on Sunday.

Spencer Floyd launched a two-run home run to tie the game in the third then Garrett Tucker, who scored on Floyd’s homer after doubling, hit a two-run blast of his own in the bottom of the sixth to give Troy the victory.

Ironically, Spanish Fort’s offensive production came via a two-run homer in the third.
