Mrs. Mary E. Peck, age 78, passed away at her home in the Tarentum Community on July 15, 2012.

Visitation for Mrs. Peck will be from 1 to 2:30 p.m. today at Thrash-Keahey Funeral Home. A private family graveside service will begin at 3 p.m. at Mount Olive Cemetery in Rocky Head with the Rev. Shirlie Ellis officiating.

Survivors include her son, Johnny Marion Downing; two daughters, Margie (John) Treadwell and Mavis Ashley; a granddaughter, Tia (Doug) Lehr; a grandson, Phillip Downing; three great-grandchildren; three sisters, Lois Thrash, Ruby McLeod and Pauline Cattret; and a brother, Jerry Dickey.

Services are under the direction of Thrash-Keahey Funeral Home of Brundidge.
