James Baker, age 80, of Troy, died Saturday, July 07, 2012, at Jackson Hospital in Montgomery. Funeral Services will be held Monday, July 9, 2012, at 11 a.m. from the Bush Memorial Baptist Church with Rev. Otis Derrah and Rev. Dewayne Norman officiating. Burial will follow in the Green Hills Cemetery with Dillard Funeral Home in Troy directing. Visitation will be held Monday, July 9, 2012 from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. at Bush Memorial Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Ellen Baker of Troy; daughter and son-in-law, Patsy and John Hill of Millbrook; sons and daughters-in-law, Jim and Robin Baker of Luverne and Mark and Janet Baker of Troy; grandchildren, Whitney (Wes) Cory of Millbrook, Lauren Clements of Millbrook, David Baker of Baton Rouge La., Meghan Baker of Dothan, Justin Baker of Troy, and Clayton Baker of Troy; and three great-grandchildren. Serving as pallbearers will be David Baker, Justin Baker, Clayton Baker, Michael Floyd, Mathew Floyd and Benjamin Baker. Honorary pallbearers will be the Deacons of Bush Memorial Baptist Church.
