Troy destroys Daphne 16-3

ENTERPRISE – After a sluggish offensive performance in Friday’s opener in the Pitching Machine State tournament in Enterprise, Troy rebounded for a 16-3 win over Daphne.
“We didn’t swing the bats hard on Friday,” head coach David Nelson said. “We played more like Troy today.”
For Troy, Drew Nelson was 2-for-3, Nathan Braisted was 2-for-3, Darryl Lee was 2-for-3, Press Jefcoat 1-for-3, Ben Reeves was 1-for-3, Skylar Kidd was 3-for-3, Laquavin Rodgers was 3-for-3, Bailey Sparrow was 2-for-3, Adrian Cardwell was 0-for-3, DeAndrey Henderson was 2-for-2, Brady Huner was 1-for-2, and Noah Prestwood was 1-for-2.
Troy will play AUM Gold at 5 p.m. on Sunday. Troy lost to AUM Green, 2-0, on Friday.
