Aurelia S. McLendon, age 71 of Brundidge, died Monday July 2, 2012 in Stockbridge, Georgia. A graveside service will be held Friday, July 6, 2012 at10 a.m. at Lakeview Cemetery with Rev. Averytt Walker officiating and Dillard Funeral Home in Brundidge directing. Visitation will be held Thursday, July 5, 2012 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Dillard Funeral Home in Brundidge.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Jackie and Mitch Hand of McDonough, Ga.; two grandchildren, Cade Hand and Alex Hand; her sisters and brother- in-law, Adline and Joe Rodgers of Montgomery and Myra Golden of Montgomery; and her brother and sister-in-law, Mallory and Argie Slaughter of Brundidge. Mrs. McLendon was preceded in death by her husband, Raymon McLendon, and a son, Curt McLendon.

In lieu of flowers, memorials should be made to ones favorite charity. Family and friends will meet at Lakeview Cemetery for the service.
