City Councilman Steven “Nuco” Coleman is making plans for the Aug. 28 municipal election.

“It has been an honor and a privilege to serve the citizens of Brundidge,” Coleman said. “I would like to thank the citizens of District 5 for electing me to be their voice. I hope I have served them with pride and dignity and look forward to serving another term.

“I have diligently worked for the citizens of District 5, but I know there is more work to be done. I have worked with other council members and the mayor to offer more opportunities for the youth of Brundidge, as well as trying to keep all programs available to senior citizens.

“I enjoy working in the community and I’m ready to do my part to make Brundidge better,” Coleman said.
