Nelson D. (Nunny) Register of the Mt. Moriah Community died Saturday, June 9, 2012 at the Troy Health and Rehabilitation Center surrounded by his family.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 12, 2012 at 2 p.m. from the Chapel of Dillard Funeral Home in Troy with Ministers Bobby Templin and Floyd Noble officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Olive Church of Christ Cemetery with Dillard Funeral Home of Troy directing.

Visitation will be held Monday, June 11, 2012 from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Dillard Funeral Home in Troy.

Mr. Register is survived by his children, Bonnie and Brad Money, Donnie and Roxanne Register, and Connie and Neill Dobson, all of Troy, and his grandchildren, John, Jay, and Julie Money, Tyler Register and McNeill and Laura Dobson, all of Troy. He is also survived by Russell Register, Francis Davis, Ebbin and Lucy Register, all of Troy.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Jewell Wasden Register, and his mother, Myrtes Register.

Active pallbearers will be Junior Register, Adam Register, Stanley Henderson, John Register, Ricky Register, Ronnie Davenport, Mike Woods and Jim Powell.

Honorary pallbearers will be Theo Gibson, Raymond Woods, Jim Register, Pete Thomas, Jerry Thomas and Buddy Register.

Memorial may be made to the Collegedale Church of Christ Mission Team.
