Children’s Miracle Network to host golf tournament

The Children’s Miracle Network will host its ninth annual golf tournament on Monday, May 21 at the Troy Country Club.
All prceeds are donated to Children’s Miracle Network.
Children’s of Alabama is the only pediatic hospital in the state of Alabama and is also one of the top 20 employers in the state.
Children’s is also home to the only pediatric kidney dialysis program in the state and has one of the largest burn units in the Southeast.
Children’s is also currently building the Benjamin Russell Hospital for Children in Birmingham which is the largest health care construction project in Alabama. The $400 million project is scheduled to open in August 2012. More than a third of the funds were raised from community support.
Registration for the golf tournament will begin at 8a.m. on Monday and tee time is set for 9a.m.
Sponsorships are also available. Tee box only is $100, team only is $300, and a Mirace sponsorship (team and tee box) is $400.
The tournament is a 4-ball scramble format and longest drive and closest to the pin prizes will be awarded.
Cost to enter the tournament is $75 per person.
