Dr. Chuck Blair

Dr. Chuck Blair, age 77, of Brundidge, passed away at his residence Friday, May 11, 20l2.  A memorial service for Dr. Chuck Blair will be held at 3 p.m., Sunday, May 13, 20l2, at Springfield Baptist Church in Brundidge with Dr. Vickie Blair officiating and Skeen Funeral Home of Brundidge directing.

Dr. Chuck was born on September 28, l934 in Summerfield, Fl. to the late Ambrose Jackson Blair and Clara Ellen Holly Blair.  He held a Doctor of Ministry degree.  His occupation was pastor and Bible teacher.  He retired after 20 years of service in the U. S. Air Force. During his service he served two tours to Vietnam.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia Blair, Brundidge; daughters, Dr. Vickie Blair, Missionary to Kyrghyzstan, and R.N. Debra Schlesinger of Fairhope; three grandchildren, Helen Schlesinger, Auburn, Emma Schlesinger and Sarah Schlesinger, both of Fairhope.
