Martin R. Lee, age 66, died Tuesday, April 24, 2012. Graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 28, 2012, at Orion Baptist Church Cemetery in Troy, with Dillard Funeral Home of Troy directing. There will be a memorial service in Columbia at a later date. The family is being assisted by Dunbar Funeral Home, Devine Street Chapel of Columbia and Dillard Funeral Home of Troy.

Mr. Lee was born in North Wales, England, to the late Murble Barron and Edna Dobbs Lee. He was a U.S. Army veteran and a former employee of Shakespeare Corporation. Mr. Lee enjoyed fishing and was a trusted friend of Bill.

Survivers include his son, Martin Robert Lee Jr.; two grandchildren; uncles, Robert, Alvie and Charles Lee; aunts, Nellie Ruth Jefferson and Loretta Covington.
