Pike Liberal Arts locked up their region title with a 11-6 win over Fort Dale on Thursday.

The Patriots trailed 6-5 heading into the seventh inning but scored five runs to pull ahead and take the victory.

Nick McLaughlin and Chandler Avant were each 2-for-4 in the game.

Lawson Stewart finished 1-for-4 with a pair of RBI.

Josh Starling launched a solo home run in the top of the seventh and pitched the final inning to get the win.

Blake Floyd tossed six innings and struck out six.

Pike Liberal Arts will face Glenwood on Friday in Phenix City.

The Patriots are now guaranteed to host the first round of the AISA state playoffs which begin April 27.
