CHHS softball falls to Carroll

Charles Henderson fell victim to the red-hot Carroll offense on Thursday, falling 24-13 in five innings.
The Trojans jumped out to an early 5-0 lead before Carroll answered with two runs in the bottom of the first innings.
The Eagles would add seven in the second to take a 9-5 lead.
Charles Henderson fought back with six runs in the top of the fourth but Carroll tied the game in the bottom half with a pair to make the score 11-11.
The Trojans regained the lead in the fifth with two runs but Carroll struck for 13 runs to end the game.
Becca Hartley and Amberlyn Baker were both 3-for-4. Meredith Motes was 2-for-4. Madison Mehaffey and Victoria Outlaw each had hots as well.
