Troy Police Sgt. Benny Scarbrough said officers are looking for multiple black males. They were wearing all black and red clothing, red gloves and masks when they  stole jewelry, various electronics, a computer, tools, currency and a 2000 gray Chevrolet Impala from two victims. Police say the stolen car had “Sagitario” written across the window, which helped officers easily identify the vehicle they found discarded of U.S. Hwy. 29 in Banks Thursday afternoon.

“There were at least two weapons,” Scarbrough said. “The victims didn’t know the men.”

Police are asking anyone with information to call the Troy Police Department at 566-0500, or the Secret Witness Line at 566-5555.

Scarbrough said it’s important for everyone to be aware of their surroundings and the people near them at all times.

“Keep your eyes up,” Scarbrough said. “Make good eye contact with people and take mental notes when something doesn’t seem right in case you need to recall a description.”
