Police release sketch of sexual assault suspect

This is a sketch artist's drawing based on a victim's description of the man wanted for two sexual assaults on March 26.

The Troy Police Department has released a sketch of the man wanted for two sexual assaults at Hunter’s Mountain on March 26.

Investigators are looking for a black man with a dark complexion in his late 30s to early 50s who is about 6 feet to 6 feet. At the time of the sexual assaults he was wearing a black or dark blue shirt and loose-fitting black or blue jeans. Victims relayed to police that the man had closely cropped hair and was about 250 pounds with an athletic build.

A reward of $25,000 is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person responsible in these cases. Individuals with tips or information about the sexual assaults should call the Troy Police Department at 566-0500, or the Secret Witness Line at 566-5555.
