Beverly Darling

Beverly A. Darling, age 73, of Troy, died Sunday, February 19, 2012 at Troy Regional Hospital.  Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 3, 2012 at 1 p.m. from the chapel of Hynes Funeral Home in Margaretville, NY.  Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 3, 2012 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m.  Burial will be in the Bedell Cemetery in Fleischmanns, NY.

Ms. Darling graduated as Salutatorian from Fleischmanns High School in Fleischmanns, NY.  She had a Masters degree from New York University and a Bachelors degree from Ithaca College where she graduated Magna Cum Laude.

Ms. Darling was an avid pet lover and was a member of the Pike County Humane Society.  She also loved to read, was an excellent swimmer and loved to travel.

Ms. Darling is preceded in death by her parents, Solomon and Elizabeth Darling.  She is survived by one brother, James Darling (Carol) of Long Island, NY; nieces, Jill Florence (Michael), Shari Bruinsma (Steve) and Jamie Loehner (Christopher) all of Long Island, NY; cousins, Louise Levo of Saratoga, NY; Lynn Bruce (Carol) of Baton Rouge, LA;  several great nieces and nephews.   She is also survived by Anita Rivers of Troy, AL, Mary Ciaffa of Yonkers, NY, Barbara Greer of Stanford, CT, Gladys Passaro and family of Valley Stream, NY, Jackson family of Lynchberg, VA, Darlene Butts and family of Troy.
