Robert Coleman Walters

Robert Coleman Walters, 85, died February 20, 2012 at the Wuesthoff Brevard Hospice in Rockledge, Florida. He was born in Troy.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter H. and Julia C. Walters of Troy, and brother, Walter H. Walters, Jr. He is survived by his wife, Anne, of Merritt Island, Florida, and his children; son Robert, and daughters, Nancy, Gail, and Julia.

Robert served in the Navy during WWII. He taught band for 25 years after graduating from Troy University with a degree in music in 1950.

A memorial service will be held in Cocoa, Florida on Saturday, February 25, 2012 under the direction of East Coast Cremation, 321-632-1350.
