The Pike County Commission was not able to meet as scheduled due to the absence of three commissioners. There were empty chairs for Homer Wright, Ray Goodson and Charlie Harris on Monday night.

Commissioners Robin Sullivan, Jimmy Barron and Oren Fannin did allow Ron Howard with Capital Risk Management to speak concerning ways to lower health costs for uninsured residents and Corey Kirkland with the Pike County Health Department to address the upcoming tobacco-free building and campus push.

The next scheduled commission meeting is Feb. 27.
