The weekend begins today with a sold-out performance at the We Piddle Around Theater in Brundidge.

On Saturday, the festival continues at Troy University with 10 a.m., 2 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. performances.

Each of the performances will feature guest storytellers Kevin Kling, Donald Davis, Bil Lepp and Suzi Whapels. Each of these unique artists brings a different approach to their stories, but all are captivating and entertaining. And, combined with musical performances from local bands prior to the shows, the event offers plenty of entertainment for a ticket as low as $10 each.

The storytelling is a jewel in Pike County’s crown. This grass-roots event has continually attracted nationally acclaimed storytellers, who enjoy the intimacy with the audience and the hospitality of the community.

The art of storytelling is an unique one … relying on the performing abilities of the tellers and the content of the stories they tell.

Those who come for the Pike Piddlers’ festival have never disappointed, and we expect this year will be the same.

Tickets are still available for the Saturday performances, so clear your schedule and plan to attend.
