Two arrests made in Friday burglaries

Two men were arrested Friday by Troy Police in connection with two recent burglaries.

Arquevious Gerod Foster, 20, was charged with two counts of burglary third-degree and is being held on a bond of $2,500 for each case. A 17-year-old male was placed in detention and had two petitions filed on him for burglary third-degree, according to a news release from the Troy Police Department.

The houses were located on County Road 1121 and County Road 7714 in Troy, the release said.

The burglary on County Road 1121 was reported on Jan. 17 at about 5:15 p.m. The two men went in through the front door of the home and took a desktop computer, DVD player and jewelry.

The second burglary was reported to police on Jan. 20 at about 7:15 p.m. The thieves took a 47” Samsung TV, a Mossberg shotgun and sunglasses.

Both burglaries occurred during daylight hours, according to police.
