Rebecca Wheeler
On Tuesday, December 27, 2011 Rebecca Wheeler was obedient to her Lord and Master as she answered the call that every soul must answer.
Services for Rebecca Wheeler were held on Saturday, December 31, 2011 at 1 p.m. at Mount Olive No. 2 Missionary Baptist Church in Banks with Rev. Tirrell Glover officiating. Interment followed in Mount Olive No. 2 Church Cemetery under the direction of George F. Grubbs Funeral Home
Rebecca Wheeler was born October 2, 1949 to the late Julene McKenzie and Shelly Perry. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Samuel Adams and John Dee Perry; one sister, Katie Mae McKenzie; two sisters-in-law, Minnie Wilson and Annie Wheeler; and one brother-in-law, Edward Wheeler.
Leaving to cherish her memories are a loving and devoted son, Willie (Tina) Wheeler of Troy; grandchildren, Shamekka Sheffield of Troy, Kevondre Wheeler of Union Springs, and Jureka Marcus of Troy; sisters, Mae Dorothy (Matthew) Townsend of Troy, Shirley Perry of Union Springs, Willie Mae (L. C.) McKenzie of Troy, and Georgia Bell McKenzie of Brundidge; sisters-in-laws and brother-in-laws, Mae Ola Collins, Dorothy Lee, Mildred Townsend of Troy, Lillie Vera Wheeler of Brundidge, and Wes Wheeler of Troy, a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives; and a very special friend, Dorothy (Dot) McKenzie.
