Several more people have qualified from the Democratic party for the March 2012 elections.

Jerry Williams, chair of the Pike County Democratic Party, said Samuel Lewis has qualified to run for the Pike County District 3 commissioner’s seat; Clint T. Foster, Ph.D. will be running for the Pike County School Board seat for District 5; and Ross Paul is seeking election to the District 6 school board seat for Pike County.

Calls and e-mails to the Pike County Republican Party have gone unanswered.
