A Troy man was injured in a one-vehicle collision with a building early Thursday morning.

The Troy Police Department reported Adam Colley Johnston, 23, drove his 2002 Chevrolet Silverado pick-up into the Wendy’s on U.S. Highway 231 about 1:15 a.m. There were no passengers in the truck.

Johnston was taken to Troy Regional Medical Center’s Emergency Room for treatment of injuries suffered.

The wreck is under investigation and alcohol is a factor in the crash, according to Troy Police. Evidence has been submitted for forensic analysis.
