Four recruits will visit the Troy campus Saturday. Three are JUCO transfers and one has already committed. Looks like Troy is going after some guys that came help immediately, especially on the defensive side of the ball.

Will Scott – Gulf Coast CC – Punter
Scott is ranked the No. 3 punter in the NJCAA with an average of 42.3 yards per punt. With the loss of Will Goggans, Troy is in need.

Eli Canton – Northeast Mississippi CC – Linebacker
Canton (6-2, 240) led his team in tackles with 46 (11 for loss)in 2011. He was also named All-Conference.

Wayland Coleman-Dancer – Mississippi Delta CC – Linebacker
Not a lot out there on Dancer (except a cool name) but I did find a You Tube video (below).

John Knight – Thomasville HS – Linebacker/Defensive Back (Committed to Troy)
Knight (6-1, 195) recorded 46 tackles and also rushed for 614 yards as a running back. More than likely, Knight will stay on the defensive side.
