Jere Brantley

Jere Brantley, age 69, of Banks died Tuesday, December 6, 2011 at his home. Private family funeral services will be held Thursday, December 8, 2011 at 2 p.m. from the Banks Baptist Church with Rev. Donnie Dunn officiating. Burial will follow at the Banks Cemetery with Dillard Funeral Home of Troy directing. There will be a 30 minute lie-in-state at the church prior to the service.

He is survived by his daughters, Yvon Brantley of Troy and JoAnna (Mark) Kilpatrick of Troy; a son, Mark Brantley of Troy; his father, Jerold D (Carolyn) Brantley of Banks; grandchildren, Katherine Bullock, Audrey Barron, and Ellie Barron; a sister, Joy (Peter) Lance of Nederland, Colorado; and a brother, Boak Brantley of Appomattox, Virginia. He was preceded in death by his mother Muller Mae Brantley. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Open Arms Ministry, P.O. Box 191 Troy, AL 36081.
