Ethel Berry

Ethel “Bea” Berry was born to the late Willie Henry & Lakie Brundidge Berry on March 17, 1937 in Pike County Alabama. On Saturday, November 26, 2011 she departed from this earthly life at Troy Health and Rehabilitation Facility. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 1, 2011 at 1 p.m. at Greater St. Paul A.M.E. Church with the Rev. Elijah Shafah officiating. Burial will follow at Carroll Street Cemetery. Services are under the direction of George F Grubbs Funeral Home.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie Henry & Lakie Brundidge Berry, her daughter, Ethel Mary Arnold, her son, Ricky Jerome Berry Gipp, three sisters, Ollie Mae McBryde, Jewel Leverette, Annie Mae Dunn and a brother, Leamon Berry.

She leaves to cherish her memories a loving and devoted daughter, Catherine Berry (Dennis) Jordan, a devoted sister, Lucile (Homer) Wright, sisters; Myrtle Lee Ryles, Dorothy Berry, Queen E. Leverette, and brother Clifford Berry, all of Troy, AL; one sister-in-law, Eula Pearl Brown Berry, Birmingham, AL; one brother-in-law, Wesley Dunn, Troy, AL; and a host of nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. Special friends: Dorothy Belcher, Minnie McCloud, Earmie Money, Ruby Knox, Mary Liptrot, Teresa Stringer, Annie Bell Starks, Catherine Fayson, Faye Owens and Gail Jones. Special Caretakers: Carolyn Longmire, Sweetie Mae Jordan, Annie Jean Arnold, Richard & Gwen Mosley, Niece’s, Ramona McClure, Betty Sue Jones and Wanda Bean. God’s Children: Anastiasha Grimes, Qunitin Wright, Patrick, Haley and Gabbie Jackson, Asha Wright, Tenica and Brad Cox, Debra and Donta Frazier, Andy and Nancy Murphree, Karla Jones, Jenny, Brooke and Andy Faulk, Angel Terry, Dorsey Fayson, Jennye and Allison Flowers, Robert and Caylee Jones, Rev.
