Annie Jewell Grider

Mrs. Annie Jewell Grider was born October 12, 1926 to the late Oscar and Rushie Starks. She peacefully departed this life on Tuesday, November 15, 2011. Services will be held Saturday, November 19, 2011 at 11 a.m. at Mt. Olive #2 Missionary Baptist Church in Banks with Rev. Terell Glover officiating. Burial will follow in the cemetery of Mt. Hermon Baptist Church with George F. Grubbs Funeral Home directing.

Annie Jewell was a member of the Mt. Olive #2 Baptist Church in Banks, Alabama. She was married to the late Homer Grider. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her siblings, T. K., Charles, Alice, Mary Bell and Martha Starks; and a grandson, Anthony Todd Pennington.

She leaves many precious and fond memories to be cherished by her loving and devoted family, including her children, Melonease (James) Clark, Dothan, Ellouise (John) Pennington, Troy, Willie (Sonya) Grider, Bradenton, FL; three brothers, A.
