Troy University officials have not identified any additional cases of active tuberculosis, according a statement on its website.

Public health officials tested nearly 200 individuals that have been in close contact with a student identified this week as having an active case of TB. Officials said the test results revealed no cases of active TB, and only a small very low positivity rate for latent tuberculosis.

The university says it will continue to testing until all individuals identified as having been in close contact have been tested. It will also retest all of the tested individuals in January 2012.
