Billy Steve Powell

Billy Steve Powell, age 58, a native of Troy and a resident of Foley passed away Nov. 4, 2011, at South Baldwin Regional Medical Center in Foley.  Funeral services were held Monday, Nov. 7, at 2 p.m. from the Chapel of Dillard Funeral Home in Troy with Rev. Bobby Templin officiating.  Interment followed at Hamilton Crossroads Cemetery with Dillard Funeral Home directing.  Visitation was held Monday, Nov. 7, at the funeral home for one hour prior to the services.

Steve was born in Troy on Sept. 2, 1953, to George Albert Powell and Mary Ethel Richardson Powell.  In addition to his parents, Steve is survived by one daughter, Ashley Ann Powell (William Shane Brand), of Enterprise; one son, Seth Hilliard Powell, of Gulf Shores, Alabama; one brother, George Stacy Powell of Troy; and a niece, Shelly Powell Sanders of Wahiawia, Hawaii.
