Troy will play host to the University of West Alabama Monday night and fans will see a re-vamped Trojan squad.

After finishing 8-21 last season, head coach Don Maestri has his team playing at as high a tempo as ever.

The Trojans, who will look to press the Tigers for most of the game, have several new faces that will see playing time.

Junior college transfers Daronte Clark, Alan Jones, Emil Jones, Justin Wright, and Ray Chambers will all see extended time for Troy.

Three players return form last year’s team will point guard Will Weathers being the only one to collect major minutes. Forwards Steven Cunningham and Tim Owens also return.

The exhibition is set for a 7 p.m. tip and admission is free.
