Gary Dean Hester

Gary Dean Hester, age 54, of Troy died Thursday, October 27, 2011. Funeral services for Mr. Hester will be Tuesday, November 1, 2011, at 11:oo a.m. from the chapel of Green Hills Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Tedder, Bro. Keith Price and Rev. David Moore officiating. Burial will follow in the Green Hills Memorial Cemetery with Green Hills Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be Monday, October 31, 2011 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 pm at Green Hills Funeral Home.

Mr. Hester was a member of Cathedral of Praise Assembly of God. He was married to his wife, Marcia for more than 33 years. He was a loving husband and father; a talented singer; and had a great sense of humor. He was a jeweler for over 40 years. Mr. Hester was preceded in death by his father, Emmitt Hester. He is survived by his wife, Marcia Hester; mother, Elsie Jean Price; son, Kevin Hester; daughter, Kayla Hester; sister Patricia Stephens and one grandchild, Kinsley Rae Pinckard.

Pallbearers will be Allen Qualls, Jerry Hester, James Ed Hester, Hamilton Stubbs, Don Qualls and Bob Warr. Honorary pallbearers will be Dennis Milton, Blake Qualls, Brock Oakes, Andrew Tedder, Caleb Tedder, Jason Henley, Johnathon Henley, Austin Warr, C.C. Faulkner, Joey Faulkner, Kimball Barns, John Dillard and Mason Milton.
