Hattie Mae Roberts

Hattie Mae Roberts of Troy, AL departed this life on October 15th in Louisiana. She was 72.

Visitation will be Tuesday, October 25th from 9 a.m. until funeral services at 10 a.m. at Union Missionary Baptist Church, Brundidge. Interment will follow in the Fort Mitchell National Cemetery, Fort Mitchell, AL.

Hattie was born on January 30, 1939 in Spring Hill. She was the eldest child of Oscar Will and Nettie Mae Butts. Hattie married Arthur Roberts, Sr., in 1968 and bore two children from that union.

Mrs. Roberts is survived by her husband, Arthur Roberts, Sr.; five children, Arthur Roberts, Jr., Geraldine Roberts, Jackie Blair, Sharon Daniels and Gregory Lacon; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; siblings, Minnie B. Passmore, Betty Billington, Nettie Coston, Mattie Mattie Pearl Blair, Linda Butts and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter, Patricia Roberts (1969).
